I currently have a ka24det with a felpro headgasket on a sr20det t25 running 10psi of boost Thu aug 19, 2004 8:09 am location I'm about to build another ka24det and was wondering how much boost/power is the felpro paper type headgasket good for (apparently i heard 400)

I went ahead and lubed the bearings with the arp lube that came for the studs and then followed the arp torque procedure from jgs to torque them all down

The operation of the swirl control valve extends the torque curve of the engine It does this by essentially providing two seperate intake velocities and torque curves that are switched, overlaying the curves as a single extended profile The scv are operated by a proprietary load and rpm based switching algorithm
