5.3 Common Oil Leaks

My friend has a 2010 silverado 1500 4x4 with the 5.3l lmg engine

He has a pretty bad oil leak (leaves a ~6x2 cluster of drops overnight) I feared that it may be the rear main seal (since i'd be the one to fix it ), so today i popped out the inspection plug and took a look I know this is posted on a lot but figured i would share my trucks issue to add to the database and see what opinions the great minds in this forum may have to share I have a 2011 5.3 with just over 133k miles on it

I have had it for about 30k of those miles and have changed the oil at least. This weekend i tried to identify the leak and it looked like it might be the engine oil cooler line gasket so i went ahead and replaced the gasket Topped off the engine with oil and started the truck and crawled back underneath and oil was pouring out (see picture). I have sure looked at the valve cover and they seem clean, kind of looks like oil coming from behind that black cover behind starter, that cover flywheel casing

Engine Rear Oil Leak. Is it my rear crankshaft seal? Or something else

I was told there is a crankshaft sensor back there somewhere that could leak oil, but that just picks up turning of a point on flywheel and is not in oil.

Cleaned oil pan and block very well, put rtv only on the corners where front and rear covers meet oil pan, and got it all back together and no better Yesterday i put dye in again, pulled the starter back, cleaned everything really good with brake cleaner, and tested it I will not leak hardly a drop just idling for 20 mins. Question for any experienced ls builders about the rear main seal

I just built a gen 3 5.3 ls, everything went perfect except soon after running it, it started to drip oil from the rear of the engine I can't think of anything i did wrong I guess if things look dry in there you can rule out the rear main seal but about all you can see is the flexplate teeth I wonder if you are getting a leak from around the oil pressure sending unit on the top back of the engine on driver's side?
